Ultimately, this blog is about becoming the most true version of yourself. It's been about me becoming the most true version of myself. When I first came up with the idea for this blog, I knew I wanted it to be a beauty and fitness blog. But all of the advice for new bloggers was to focus on a singular topic. And while that is good advice for writing, I couldn't make myself one-dimensional. I HAD to just embrace the fact that the things I wanted to blog about didn't seem to go together, and that "normal people" might not read it because of that. Five years later, I love the people I've met because of my blog and feeling validated that it's okay to be serious about fitness but also to love makeup.
