Past recaps: 2014, 2013
Other notes: There is plenty of parking, as well as bag check at this event. The event is entirely outdoors, so plan on bringing extra clothes if you plan on hanging out. The past two years were pretty chilly--I'm going to plan ahead for gloves and a winter jacket and sweatpants just in case.
I really love this event. <3 I have very fond memories of running it the past two years with my best friend, and hanging out afterwards. The event is very well organized, the course is super flat and fast with a beautiful view. The Easter-themed after party is awesome. I don't know of many other Easter themed races, but it would be hard to beat out this one. A lot of people have fun costumes too, and photo ops with the Easter bunny! It's so very festive, a great event for the entire family to attend because there are plenty of activities for the kids (and adults who never grew up)! The brunch food is delicious....those egg sandwiches are the bomb, and I don't even usually like eggs. But what really gets me every year is the medal. They're adorable and nicely sized and Easter themed--you can't really go wrong with that combo.
