Bee Naturals was founded by nurse Barbara Chappuis to meet the need for natural products that would soothe the most severely dry, cracked hands. Her first product was the Bee Naturals Skin Creme Bar, and she later created other skincare products for different skincare needs. You can see my review of their Skin Creme Bar here, my review of the Ultra Rich Pure Body Shampoo Bar here, and my review of their Queen Bee Peeper Keeper Eye Balm here.
bee naturals Foaming Face Wash for oily & acne prone skin
$11.95 for 8 oz.
Foaming Face Wash cleanses without harshness or detergent. This oil, salicylate, and medication free cleanser soothes inflammation with feverfew extract, tea tree and rose essential oils while it cleanses thoroughly without stripping your natural oil; a situation that can often result in causing dryness and flaking. This all-natural castile base wash comes in a re-usable, refillable foam pump bottle.
To Use: Cleanse your face with a dollop of our Foaming Face Wash morning and evening and follow with Bee Naturals Hydrating Freshener and Oil-Free Moisturizer for the very best results.
Ingredients: distilled water, vegetable glycerin, sulfosuccinate, coco betaine, honey, witch hazel extract, allantoin, niacin, feverfew extract, essential oils of tea tree, rose, pink grapefruit and lavender, potassium sorbate, (food grade,USP), and Liquapar Optima.
I have incredibly oily skin, and I like my skin to feel clean when I'm done washing it. It doesn't need to feel tight or stripped or raw--but it does need to feel like my skin is truly bare. I like that the bee naturals Foaming Face Wash cleans my skin, removes the oil and leftover makeup and whatever else is on my face, but leaves it feeling just right. Sometimes I do use an oil-free mattifying lotion afterwards, but I could go without. If you have normal, dry, or combination skin, this will probably be too drying for you. I really like that this foaming cleanser feels thicker and richer than many of other foaming cleansers that I've tried. You feel like you're really getting a concentrated product instead of something watered down. I also like that this doesn't have much of a scent to it.
The packaging is a simple foaming pump bottle that lets you see how much product is left. The pump mechanism is easy to use (nothing like having wet hands to wash your face and then wrestling the pump, am I right?) One 8 oz. bottle will last quite awhile since it's a foaming product, and one pump is really enough product for my face, so it's a good value at this price. At night, I use my Neutrogena makeup removing wipes, and then one pump of bee naturals Foaming Face Wash on my Olay Pro-X cleansing brush (I use about half a pump). I do feel that this foaming cleanser has really been a key part of my skincare routine for keeping my acne at bay.
Overall, I love bee naturals Foaming Face Wash for oily & acne prone skin. Will definitely buy it again in the future.
