Shampooing twice is the key to the effectiveness of this shampoo. Doing so gets my hair clean but not stripped. It smells clean, slightly minty and a little herbal. I love the rich lather too. After using it, my hair feels moisturized and shinier.

I tried this as both a leave-in treatment and as daily conditioner. It does a nice job of keeping my damaged, color-treated hair from looking so straw-like. This also has a clean, herbal, minty scent to it. However, it seemed to cause me to break out a bit more than usual on my cheeks. Using this like a regular conditioner (rinsing it out in the shower) worked best for me.

This tub will last forever! It did a good job of healing my poor damaged hair. Like the shampoo and conditioner, this smells minty, clean and slightly herbal. As a leave in product, this seemed to cause breakouts. Using it as a leave in treatment (applied thickly, then washed out) worked well though.
Overall, I like how reasonably priced these products are. My skin can be pretty temperamental when it comes to hair/skin products, so other people probably won't have the minor issues that I had. I will still definitely be able to use these products, as long as I rinse them out--they're really helping my poor hair look healthy again. I can tell the difference in my hair when I use these products instead of regular shampoo and conditioner. If your hair is severely damaged, I'd give these products a try.
