Meet Amy, the owner of the new Barre3 Vancouver - Felida location! Amy is a former school principal who's switched over to . I've had the pleasure of taking a few classes with Amy, and she is a fantastic instructor and a really lovely person. I'm pretty particular about instructors, but I've always found Amy to be very helpful and caring in her methods. I'm really excited to check out the brand new studio, and meet the other instructors.
In case you aren't familiar with the "barre" method, it combines yoga, ballet and pilates into a total body workout. Barre3 was founded in Portland, OR by Sadie Lincoln.
I love Barre3 because its so good for balancing out my muscles, and it's excellent cross-training for running. I especially like that there are a lot of variations for each pose, so that no matter where you are that day, you can challenge your body.
There are lots of options for purchasing classes--you can purchase each class individually, or unlimited monthly memberships. Until 4/6/2015, you can get a founding client membership for $125/month.
The studio will be having FREE classes during opening week--it's not required, but definitely recommended to reserve your spot online!
