If you've never felt this kind of powder before, it feels weird to touch. It looks like powder but feels slightly damp and sticky. There's not much scent, if any.
I don't seem to do a very good job of getting big hair, with this or any similar product--my hair looks poofy for a bit then gets flat, but I suspect that has more to do with my (lack of) skill at applying the product, and the fact that I have SO MUCH HAIR. It's thick, and medium length, and there's a lot of it. I can get some volume with BOMBSHELL Big Hair Powder, but I think the weight of my hair is too much for this. Sometimes I use it at the ends instead of at the roots, to give my hair a little more volume there, which works okay. If you have fine and/or thin and/or short hair, you'd probably get much better results than I did. Just a note--this makes hair a little "sticky" and not as touchable. Basically, it makes it more difficult to run your hands through your hair. The price is a bit high for the size of the bottle, but you don't need a whole lot. And, you can buy it at Walmart.com for $12.97!
