Be sure to check out Energy Events' blog for race previews and race recaps of all of their events, written by yours truly, the official Energy Events Blogger! I'm so excited about this opportunity to work with them to promote awesome local running events :)
This was my first year doing the Fort Vancouver Run. I signed up for the 15k and seriously considered dropping down to the 10k or 6k since the weather was awful (rainy, cold and windy) and my sprained ankle had been acting up a little... but I decided to tape it up and see how it fared. I actually ended up placing 2nd in my age group (... out of 7), and getting my first age division medal ever! More importantly, I got in a good long run that was pain free and on track.
