Bee Naturals was founded by nurse Barbara Chappuis to meet the need for natural products that would soothe the most severely dry, cracked hands. Her first product was the Bee Naturals Skin Creme Bar, and she later created other skincare products for different skincare needs. You can see my review of their Skin Creme Bar here and my review of the Ultra Rich Pure Body Shampoo Bar here.
bee naturals Queen Bee Peeper Keeper Eye Balm
$6.95
To Use: After washing, apply a small amount to the skin around your eyes to moisturize, taking care to avoid getting into your eyes.
Ingredients: Olive oil, jojoba oil, unbleached beeswax, sunflower oil, avocado oil, sesame oil, carrot seed oil, meadowfoam seed oil, shea oil, tocopheryl acetate (Vitamin E), coconut oil and oat oil.
This balm is quite firm in texture, due to the beeswax content. It's kind of semi-solid, like a hard salve. However, a little bit of balm goes a long way in terms of moisturizing your eyes. There's not any real scent to it, and while the little pot is somewhat small, one container will last a really, really, really long time. When my eyelids were dry and I was fighting my eczema, this was pretty helpful. If you need a moisturizing eye product, and want really simple ingredients, this one's great.
