Concrete Minerals Sexy Lips Lip Tint
$5.99 for 0.15 oz (4.25 grams)

About: "All Sexy Lips lip tints are 100% vegan! While not scented or flavored, each lip tint includes a hint of fresh peppermint! Lip tints are buildable -- apply lightly to moisturize and tint lips or to further increase color intensity, apply multiple coats. Use caution with kisses, all lip tints containing dyes may potentially stain!"

INGREDIENTS: Ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, cannabis sativa (hemp) seed oil, euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax, theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, mentha piperita (peppermint) essential oil, tocopherol (vitamin e), rosmarius officinalis (rosemary) essential oil MAY CONTAIN: Mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, tin oxide, D&C Red #6, D&C Red #7, D&C Red #27, D&C Red #40, FD&C Blue #1, FD&C Yellow #5

Review: I tested out Rocket, which I would describe as hot pink with superfine microglitter. The color is definitely bright, but can be worn lightly for a less bold look, or layered on til it’s quite bright. Even so, it was forgiving when I applied it without a mirror. It has a nice faint peppermint scent that I really like. It definitely will leave a stain on your lips, but it stains evenly, much better than other tinted lip balms that I’ve tried. It’s not as moisturizing as a regular lip balm, but for a tinted balm, it does a good job. I also like that it’s a regular sized tube of balm (instead of the skinny kind).

Pros:
-Awesome color selection
-Inexpensive
-Feels good on lips
-Cute packaging

Cons:
-None!

Swatches:

Honestly, this is one of my most favorite tinted lip balms ever. The price is right, and the product is fabulous. I will definitely be repurchasing these, and I’ll be giving them to friends as gifts too!

Concrete Minerals Electric Eye Primer
$10.99 for 0.35 oz

About: "The prep tool that every makeup-loving gal should own, our luxurious silky-soft formula (which excludes parabens!) will challenge even the pros! Apply just a bit of this to eyelids before applying makeup and you'll see more vibrant, longer-lasting eyeshadow with NO creasing! It takes just a small amount. Blend well until eyelids feel satiny and then apply eyeshadow as normal!"

INGREDIENTS: Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Beeswax, Dimethicone, Silicon Dioxide, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene MAY CONTAIN: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxide, Tin Oxide

Review: This product is fantastic. Just a little dab of Electric Eye Primer will cover both eyes. (Be careful not to overdo it!) It’s fairly transparent, with just a bit of a golden sheen to it. Concrete Minerals' primer feels really smooth, and performs just as well Urban Decay Primer Potion, or Too Faced Shadow Insurance--I did side by side comparisons, and found them to be equal in terms of enhancing color and preventing creasing. And the Electric Eye Primer is roughly half the price for the same amount of product! Many of the ingredients are similar, but I like that the Electric Eye Primer has fewer ingredients. You can use the Concrete Minerals Primer with any type of eyeshadow, even regular pressed eyeshadow.

Pros:
-Makes eyeshadow more vibrant
-Went all day without creasing
-Inexpensive

Cons:
-Some people don’t like sticking their fingers into their products, but since I always apply my eyeshadow primer to a clean face with clean hands, it’s not really an issue for me.

I love this stuff and absolutely would order it again, and would order it for friends too! Concrete Minerals Electric Eye Primer is really a fantastic product.

Helen Mirren is just awesome. No, I don't know her personally, but I've read a couple of interviews she's done, and I greatly admire her. She's sassy while still being classy. She has confidence. She looks good, especially for her age, but really, she just looks good. And not just physically, but she seems to have this presence. It seems like she is comfortable being herself, physically and emotionally, but doesn't feel the need to rub it in anyone's face. She really seems to be someone who has accepted herself, for all of her flaws and her strengths.

Here are my two favorite Helen Mirren quotes:

“The hardest period in life is one’s 20s. It’s a shame because you’re your most gorgeous and you’re physically in peak condition. But it’s actually when you’re most insecure and full of self-doubt. When you don’t know what’s going to happen, it’s frightening.”
[Esquire]

"Your twenties are torture, really, because you don't know what you are going to be or whether it's all going to work out, and you are supposedly an adult but you haven't really learnt anything. You're always looking for your own place in the world, but you're insecure - you think you're wonderful one minute and you think you're a disaster the next. I think your thirties are a wonderful time." And her sixties? "It's brilliant, really, the way life organises itself, because you just slowly get used to what you are, don't you?" [Guardian UK]

I'm in my mid twenties and it's like she's describing my life exactly.

The Balm "Hot Mama" shadow and blush
$19.00 for 0.25 oz

Description: "A true all-in-one essential: sexy shadow, striking blush, subtle highlighter, and light-reflecting lip finisher tucked inside a go-anywhere compact." Free of :
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Synthetic Dyes
- Phthalates

Review: "Hot Mama" is a warm coral hue, with a touch of pink, and golden shimmer inspired by multi-tasking moms everywhere. The color is very pretty on cheeks and lips, but looked terrible on my eyes. (Let's stop trying to make everything multi-purpose, please!) Hot Mama lasts all day long, and still looks great by bedtime.  It's pigmented but not overly so, making it easy to apply and build. The blush is housed in an adorably decorated cardboard casing with a magnetic closure. The packaging doesn't seem as sturdy as some plastic compacts, but it's managed to hold up pretty well in my makeup bag! Which is actually quite impressive.

Pros:
-Gorgeous color, flattering on many skintones
-Reasonably priced

Cons:
-Doesn't work as an eye shadow

If you're looking for a dupe for NARS Orgasm, this is honestly pretty close. I prefer Hot Mama because color is less sparkly than the NARS version, and therefore more wearable. It's also much cheaper.
